COVID 19 Update

Governor Jay Inslee has issued an emergency proclamation regarding social gatherings of greater than 50 people:

Starting today, events that take place in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties with more than 50 people are prohibited by the state. This order applies to gatherings for social, spiritual and recreational activities. These include but are not limited to: community, civic, public, leisure, faith-based, or sporting events; parades; concerts; festivals; conventions; fundraisers and similar activities.

We believe that Romans 13:1 applies here, not only in word, but in spirit.

Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Therefore, it is the elder’s decision to follow the spirit of the governments directive, which is an enforceable law, to limit exposure and transmission of this virus by limiting our meeting times.  To this end, we have decided to cancel all meeting times.  We do not do this lightly, but with the understanding that we are following the spirit of the law as well as trying to keep the older and infirm members of our congregation safe.

We will not physically meet until this policy is rescinded.  We will also follow the guidelines for disinfecting hard surfaces at the building.

Please stay tuned for opportunities to interact online via YouTube Live and Zoom Meetings on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

Bible Studies Available

We'd love to present you with the opportunity to have a personal Bible study with our preacher or one of our elders. A typical “orientation” type of private study plan, that many have found helpful, includes 4 classes:

  •  Bible Authority - how to use the Bible to solve issues for yourself
  •  Plan of Salvation - how Jesus said to obtain eternal life
  •  The New Testament Church / Kingdom - what is the worldwide church
  •  The Local Congregation - how to use the Bible to identify a scriptural local group

If you're interested, please click on "Contact Us" then "Send a Message". We'll get back to you promptly to set up your class.
